“Kiss my grits!” You may not hear that phrase at Times Past Inn, but sure as shooting you’ll swear that Mel is in the kitchen cooking up those home-cooked specialities that you can’t find at the chain restaurants. Or the fancy restaurants. Only at a place called Times Past Inn.

One look at the menu and you’ll “get” why owner Art Donaldson calls his restaurant Times Past Inn. The food is reminiscent of what Aunt Bessie would whip up. Nothing flashy. Nothing that uses molecular gastronomy. Or fusion.

This food is definitely more “Drive-Ins, Diners and Dives” than it is “Top Chef.” It’s an Open Face Turkey sandwich. It’s Cornmeal Breaded Catfish. It’s Beef Liver with mashed potatoes or Polish Sausage with Sauerkraut.

Times Past Inn offers a large selection of appetizers and delicious dinner entrees as a full service sports bar lounge and covered patio for an enjoyable dining experience. Family owned and operated, they strive to provide the best service and highest quality of food, and we even offer monthly dinner specials.

Times Past Inn is the kind of place where most of the patrons know Art. Not many of ‘em like him, but they all know him. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a couple of eggs over easy in the morning and the waitress is always right there to refill your coffee cup before it hits empty.

It’s the kind of where you can pretty much order anything off the menu, and still have change left to tip the waitress. Cause you better tip the waitress. Or kiss her grits.

Excludes all alcoholic beverages and all other specials. Valid only for dinner for two. Valid 1/7/11 to 1/07/12. No cash value. No cash back for unused portion. Not valid with other promotions. Tax and gratuity not included. Dine-in only. One per table. Please present gift card before ordering. Multiple coupons cannot be combined. All sales final. No refunds. No returns. For additional restrictions see the fine print.
