About Fit Bodies CrossFit
There are lots of ways to get in shape (at least if you watch a lot of late night TV). There are machines and devices and pills and DVDs. Dance your way to a six-pack. Don’t diet and get the body you’ve always dreamed of. Listen to this celebrity. No listen to this model. Or, join Fit Bodies CrossFit. Does it work? Check out owners Tom and Janelle Ragusa. Oh yeah, it works.
Fit Bodies is not your average gym. In fact, Fit Bodies prides itself on being more of a fitness community than an actual gym. From its gym size to its smaller personal customer base to its workout length, Fit Bodies CrossFit is far from average.
Some may call CrossFit a bit controversial in regard to its back-to-basics, high intensity training philosophy. There is one thing for certain about a well-established, coached and customized CrossFit program—it gives you results. Long gone are curl machines, ellipticals and stair climbers along with their two hour workout times. Free weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, plyometrics, body weight movements and Olympic lifts are what you will find in the CrossFit arsenal.
CrossFit workouts promote overall fitness that helps improve endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. CrossFit members perform daily “Workouts of the Day” in groups where they are competing against other members for the quickest, most effective and efficient time (all performed in a safe manner) while also trying to break their own personal records. Fit Bodies CrossFit workouts average between 10-20 minutes of nonstop workout time.
CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes. CrossFit’s goals are to improve your quality of life in all aspects by teaching and inspiring you to get into the best shape of your life!
